Metal processing

In 2014, UAB Stigma took up a new activity – metal processing. Four stamping presses as well as pipe cutting and punching machines, 3D pipe bending machine-tool and automated welding robots with positioning devices were set up in a newly opened metal processing shopfloor of 1,600 m2. To ensure effective stamping process, presses have the automated metal feeding systems installed.

Currently, the following stamping equipment is used:

For pipe cutting, machines are used, which can cut aluminium, copper and steel pipes with diameter ranging from 1.5 mm to 45 mm and with a wall thickness from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm. Pipe cutting is carried out applying a waste-free technology. For welding, robot welding stations are used employing TIG and MIG technologies.
